Southview Library- Lost books

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our school library is such a special place where students discover new stories, learn, and grow their love for reading. To help us keep our collection available for everyone, we have a simple process for books that don’t make their way back.

If a library book is misplaced or damaged, families have a few options:

1- Return the book if it turns up

2- Replace it with a gently used book

3- Pay the replacement fee (you will receive a note with how much the books costs)

Until a book is returned or replaced, students will need to pause borrowing new books. The students will get a letter from the library showing the name of the book and its cost. This helps us ensure that our library stays full of wonderful choices for all readers.

We know accidents happen and books sometimes go missing or get damaged. Please don’t worry—just reach out and we’ll find the best solution together.

Thank you for supporting your child’s reading journey and for helping us care for our library collection.

Warmly,

Mrs. Woolridge
